Netflix Corporate Event Flowers: Jon Batiste's American Symphony

We had an amazing opportunity recently to create a gorgeous corporate event flowers for Netflix celebrating the opening of Jon Batiste's documentary AMERICAN SYMPHONY.

Benarroch Productions, a media and production company based in Los Angeles, contacted us to create Netflix's corporate event flowers for the premiere and after-party of American Symphony.

We were creating florals for three separate events, an intimate dinner prior to the show for Jon Batiste, the screening and the afterparty.

The first event was a small seated dinner for eight with Michelle Obama in attendance. To say that I designed flowers that sat a foot in front of the former First Lady is still crazy to me. We wanted a lush, full floral feel so we went heavy on the peonies and garden roses.

We headed over to the Orpheum where we had to battle downtown traffic and when we arrived there was Secret Service agents roaming around. We set up our florals and with House of Modern Vintage's brass candle sticks and the black velvet table linens, the scene had a lush-modern vibe.

I'm sure Michelle Obama commented on how amazing the peonies looked.

And then the leftover amazing peonies were strapped into the car seat and came home with me.
