We’ve designed weddings all over New Orleans. Some venues just keep showing up in our work — not because they’re trendy, but because they’re genuinely good spaces for flowers. Good light. Good bones. Room for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to feel connected.

Here are ten we’ve actually flowered, with notes on how each one works from a design studio’s point of view.

The Josephine

The Josephine is a restored historic church with beautiful architecture — high ceilings, clean lines, and a courtyard that works well for an intimate ceremony. We’ve designed modern-romantic florals here: neutrals, fresh greenery, and arrangements that sit comfortably with the building rather than fighting it.

Ceremony and cocktail hour land naturally in the courtyard. Reception design can stay refined and architectural, or build out depending on the couple. It’s a venue that photographs cleanly and gives flowers a strong backdrop to work against.

New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA)

NOMA is one of those venues where scale actually matters. The Great Hall can hold a ceremony and a large floral install without everything feeling cramped. Then the Sculpture Garden opens up for tented dinners, garden parties, and cocktails under the trees.

We’ve done tropical, high-impact weddings here and brighter spring garden ones. Same venue, very different moods. The design has to match the volume of the space — when it does, NOMA can look incredible.

Il Mercato

We love designing at Il Mercato. The courtyard, the mantel, the Italian details — there’s always somewhere interesting for flowers to go. The mantel alone is one of our favorite design opportunities in the city.

We’ve done soft neutrals here and stronger garden color. One recent wedding leaned into lavender, blush, and chartreuse with custom textiles and a dramatic floral tree. Gate flowers, doorway installs, courtyard moments — the venue gives you a lot of natural focal points if you want to use them.

The Elms Mansion

Classic Garden District: gazebo, courtyard, St. Charles Avenue right outside. It just feels very New Orleans.

We’ve designed garden-style flowers here — soft, a little abundant, romantic without getting stiff. Ceremony can sit in the gazebo or out on the back lawn. Inside, the dining room and mantel already do a lot, so a few well-placed arrangements usually finish the space nicely.

New Orleans Country Club

New Orleans Country Club has polished rooms and enough space for a full reception floral story. We’ve designed spring weddings here with peachy pinks and soft garden flowers, and that palette felt right for the setting — seasonal, pretty, and still classic.

It’s a strong option if you want traditional New Orleans hospitality with florals that feel fresh and garden-led.

The Chloe

The Chloe is a great fit for colorful, tropical garden-party design. We’ve done bright ceremony flowers here, lots of greenery, and cocktail-hour blooms that keep the energy up as guests move through the space.

It’s a hotel, but it doesn’t feel generic. Lobby, courtyard, reception — you can carry a clear color story through the whole day and have it feel cohesive rather than scattered.

Board of Trade

The Board of Trade is a historic downtown room with real height and presence. On its own, the scale can feel a little formal. That’s where flowers help.

We’ve taken a garden-party approach here — full tablescapes, greenery that softens the volume, and installs that make the room feel warmer and more celebratory. The architecture stays. The florals change how it feels to walk in.

Audubon Clubhouse

The Audubon Clubhouse is one of the more distinctive venues on this list. We’ve designed a garden-meets-swamp wedding here with lush tropical florals, layered greenery, orchids, garden roses, and a few artistic details that feel rooted in Louisiana.

It’s immersive. Nature-forward. A good fit if you want the floral design to feel tied to place, not just layered on top of a neutral ballroom.

Four Seasons New Orleans

Four Seasons New Orleans has clean lines, strong natural light, and terrace space that works well for a polished garden party. We’ve designed neutral florals here with soft texture and abundant tables — elegant, sunlit, and not overly heavy.

It’s less about historic ornament and more about clarity: good light, good flow, and florals that feel refined without needing a lot of visual noise.

The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans

Courtyard ceremony and ballroom reception in one place — that’s a big part of why this venue works.

We recently designed a spring wedding here with a lush aisle, large garden urns on handmade trellis pedestals, and a ballroom layered with an oversized floral bar installation, bud vases, taper candles, and a soft palette of blush, ivory, sand, pale chocolate, and green. Garden-inspired, but still very much a hotel celebration.

It’s a strong “all in one place” option that still leaves room for real floral personality.
